Week 13 – C2S, Marathon Mode & What’s Ahead!

Because yes... it does start to get easier from here.

Week 13 of the training block is here, and believe it or not, the hard work is starting to pay off. From this point on, the load gets a little lighter — but the focus stays sharp.

🏃 A Quick Note on C2S for Marathon Runners

City2Surf is always a vibe, but if you're training for the Sydney Marathon, it doesn’t quite hit the volume we need at this stage. A few options to make it work:

  1. Pre-load Saturday: Get in a 12-14km run the day before.

  2. Add distance pre-race: Ideally, clock 10–12km before you hit the C2S start line. As realistically no one wants to continue running after the finish line

But remember: training is never ideal. If you can’t tick the extra volume, don’t sweat it. Prioritise the experience, enjoy the day, and soak up the atmosphere.

  • Wednesday Track – 7:00pm at ES Marks (bring the energy)

  • Friday Sunrise Run – 6:30am, as always

  • Saturday Shakeout with FULFIL – 9:00am at Centennial Park (weather dependent, we’ll keep you posted)

🎉 Sydney Marathon Week – What to Expect

Here’s a first look at how we’re making it a week to remember:

  • Wednesday – Light track session to stay sharp

  • Thursday Morning – Shakeout 5km in the city with a major brand (👀 + giveaways)

  • Thursday Evening – Runner’s yoga (Time & venue TBC)

  • Friday NightPizza & Prints 🍕👕 (ticketed): carb-load & customise your fave kit to look sharp on race day

  • Saturday – Community Shakeout with freebies. We are also working on an unsanctioned race so even more people can get involved

  • SundayRace Day + Afterparty 🎉 (ticketed: however, bar tab & food included)

  • Monday – Recovery Session @ RCVRI Coogee (ticketed)

We’ll be offering an all-in ticket for the week’s events at the best possible rate more details coming soon in the next week. Our goal is to make this week a celebration of how far this crew has come, together. Regardless if you are doing the marathon or not
